🌿 DIY Jungle Greenery
Faux tropical leaf garlands along the tables and walls are one of the easiest ways to create a lush, prehistoric jungle atmosphere. The secret is layering — mixing different leaf types and sizes so it doesn't look flat. Faux greenery from Amazon or the Dollar Tree works perfectly and is completely reusable.

Plan your greenery placement
Decide where you want greenery: along the front edge of the main table, draped along the walls, or framing a doorway. A little goes a long way — focus on the cake table and the main food table first.

Layer two types of greenery together
Use floral wire or zip ties to attach individual large monstera or palm leaf stems along the garland strand every 12–18 inches. This gives you depth — the garland provides the base, and the individual stems add the lush, tropical feel.
Tip: Mix in a few stems with a slightly yellow-green color and a few darker green ones. The variation makes it look much more realistic.

Hang along the table edge
For a table swag, attach the garland to the front corners and let it hang loosely in the middle. Clip adhesive hooks to the front of the table (test one first to make sure it holds) and thread the garland through. Add extra stems tucked behind tableware where needed.

Add wall accents
For a more dramatic jungle look, attach 3–4 large monstera stems directly to the wall with removable hooks or tape behind the cake table. Fan them outward like they're growing. You don't need full coverage — a few large leaves in the corners feel lush without being overwhelming.

Adjust and fluff before the party
Set everything up, then walk the room from the entrance angle and adjust anything that looks flat or sparse. Faux greenery holds its shape but benefits from a little bending and rearranging to look natural.
Tip: Save all the greenery after the party in a bag — it's fully reusable for the next party.
