A personalized welcome sign is one of those details that makes a party feel like someone really put thought into it. And with Canva, you don't need any design skills â they have dinosaur party templates you can customize with the child's name in about 15 minutes. Print at Staples and mount to foam board.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Open Canva and search for a dinosaur party template
Go to canva.com, click "Create a design," then choose "Poster (18x24 in)" or custom size. Search "dinosaur party" in the template search and pick one you like. Most are free. If you want Canva Pro fonts or elements, they cost a few dollars â the free tier has plenty of great options.

Personalize the text
Replace the template text with your party details: "Welcome to Logan's Dino Adventure" on the main line, then the date and location below. Keep it to 2â3 lines max â signs work best when they're easy to read at a glance.
Tip: Use the party color palette (fossil green #4a7c59, earth brown #8b5e3c, sand dune #d4b483) so the sign matches everything else at the party.

Download and send to print
Download as a PDF (Print quality). Go to a local Staples or FedEx Office and have it printed on their poster printer â 18x24 is a standard size and usually costs $5â12. Ask for "matte finish" so there's no glare in photos.

Mount to foam board
Lay the foam board on a flat surface. Use spray adhesive or double-sided tape to mount the print to the board. Smooth from the center outward to avoid bubbles. Trim any overhang with a craft knife.

Display on an easel at the entrance
Prop it on an easel at the party entrance or near the food table. You can also lean it against the wall or hang it with a removable hook. Add a few faux leaf stems tucked behind it for extra flair.
